Steve: I was trying to get ready for a triathlon. I decided to put it off a yr. I'm glad I did. John Dill's already booked to go with us, next year (along with my friend and his twin sons).
Good luck Jeff, I've killed a few over the years with a rifle and pistol but never a bow. To tell you the truth, I felt safer on a bear "stalk hunt" I did years ago (Ruger .44 revolver) than any of the boar hunts I've been on.... rifle or pistol. I've never had a bear charge me after I shot one....can't say the same for them hogs!
I hate to break it to you Jeff but what you studied in the movie Deliverance was not a hog hunt. Just didn't want you to be disappointed!
