With my August bear hunt right around the corner I have had the burden on my shoulders of getting all my whitetail equipment and stands sorted out. That way I'm ready for the season when I get back.

The last two weekends I have hung 11 new sets and have scouted out 4 new sites on some public land. I have been going non-stop and I finally have everything ready for when the season rolls around. Of course there are some minor things here and there that need addressing, but overall I won't be rushed for time once I get back and it is September. It has been a hard but enjoyable process these last few weeks and I absolutely love putting in all the work.

The itch is really bad now and I am READY TO HUNT!!!

How is everyone elses scouting, shooting, equipment doing? This season is fast approaching. Are you ready for it or what???!!!!!

Im close. I have one stand to move and I am hoping to get a couple more out over the next few weeks. If I didn't have such a limited income this season, I would have all of the stands I want to have out. I am puting some more cams out tomorrow. I have two hidey holes I want to get in the next few weeks also. I am still shooting some but, with the heat it is much less than a few weeks ago. My bow and other stuff is pretty much ready but, I am looking for a new quiver. All that said I am almost prepped but, in my mind and soul I am ready for September 11th to get here.

So far so good. Got a half dozen trees picked out and shooting lanes cut for them on my public land spot and I have a private land spot where I'll be setting up a camera and a lick this afternoon.

Check list almost complete. I moved the last stand today and am done with stands unless I get another one or two and in that case I have three more spots ready just incase I either buy a couple or have to move one. My last two cams are set up and finalized my shooting lanes for the season. Two Hidey Holes to plant in the next couple weeks and I will be done. Should be one good season this season.
