It took me till mid-august this year, but i finally got some pictures of a bonafide CHUB! The Stealth cam had been deployed at one of my farms that im going to concentrate on this year. Its the one with the "Unique Situation" that i posted in the Whitetail section. I have taken some good video of deer at this farm and both me and Isaac glimpsed a monster buck eating in the beans on a few occasions. We finally have a picture to go along with the sightings.

Heres some of the best from the week:

But it didnt bother her much:

    Now for the big guy,

We first learned of this bucks existence on Halloween of last year, and we dubbed him the "Halloween Buck". He has a drop tine on his right antler that we use to identify him. THis year he will most likely be 4.5 years old.

Here is the picture of him last year visiting my "Super Scrape":

And here he is this week about 1/4 of a mile away. I have seen him on this property 2-3 times over the last year, and im pretty confident that i know where he has been bedding.

Awesome Simans... I know you guys have worked hard with your trail cams this year. Great to see it paying off. The next picture I want to see is the two of you side by side with FD and the Halloween buck :D

As awesome as BH.com is, i dont think it would be able to contain the awesomeness of that picture :D

I feel 100 times more confident hunting the Halloween Buck then i do Freak Daddy. My own sightings and photographic evidence shows that his home range is EXTREMLY smaller then FD's, and the layout of his home range in conjunction with the properties i have permission to hunt is ALOT better.

Freak Daddy has been sighted MILES apart, this buck, never more then 1/4 (though that cant be proven nor do i know if its accurate, but it plays with confidence).

At a party today i learned that somebody found the other half of FD's rack from last year, about 3/4 of a mile from where i found his right side and almost 3 miles from the southernmost spot he has been sighted. That is a HUGE range. Ill try and get some pictures to verify.
