Well me and a buddy just started filming this year. So far it's been going great! Not as challenging as everyone made it out to be! It's a great way to add another element to the hunt but man is the video editing exhausting haha. It seems like your spending a half hour to every minute of film! I'll keep ya guys informed and make sure to like the FB page! BTW Go TEAM 9

Agreed, the few short movies I made (for personal use) normally take 30-35 hours of editing for a 10 minutes clip...

editing is the WORST part haha. Just when you think you have everything right, you go back to watch and notice this or that needs tweaking...i usually have a pot of coffee on hand for whenever i put together an episode for my YouTube Channel.

    Agreed!

I have yet to dabble in filming hunts but I film a lot of my diving/spearfishing and it takes a lot of time to get the video looking how you'd like it. And then you still find ways to fix it

Example, this took me 3 youtube uploads and finding mistakes to get it right:

I personally like the editing part almost as much as capturing my hunt on video. It's time consuming work but a great feeling when it all comes together. I'm not an artist but I assume it's what a painter or a musician experiences starting with a blank sheet of paper and ends up with a "art".

But my finished product certainly isn't "art"....lol....I've got a LONG way to go.

Thanks for all the positive feedback! Huge moral booster! I think the filming is as fun as the hunting part! I'm sure some would agree.

If you are filming several days in a row, be sure to download your footage daily an clear your cards. I typically separate files for each day along with separate morning/evening footage. In addition , I label b-roll , time-lapse , hunt wraps...etc within that daily file. Makes It easy to find and also helps keep up with the time line of the hunt.
