Alright all you geniuses, WITHOUT using a pen/pencil and paper or a calculator or any other device other than your brain, figure out this one! No cheating! Mr. and Mrs. Germ went on a picnic. They have five sons who are married and have seven daughters each. The daughters all have husbands and three children each. In total, how many people went on this picnic?

More than the amount of fingers and toes that I have. Haha. Not sure can't do it in my head and I'm not a cheater so I'll do it on a calculator and save my answer just for future comparison. :)

2 people went on the picnic. They have 103 people in the family. But you never said anything about the other 101 going to the picnic.

If they all went then it would be 127. Otherwise we only know 2 for sure.

Yes, 2 is the right answer. Too many times people overlook what is stated and take in all the surrounding noise before making their decision. Had everyone gone on the picnic, the correct answer would have been 187. Germ and Mrs., 5 sons with their 5 wives, seven daughters per son is another 35, the daughter's husbands would be another 35 and three children per each daughter would be another 105.
