I'm glad this thread has a bit of comedy. I've been missing that in my life recently. :tu:

Ty nailed it. The value to the company really depends on the individuals they select. Some people do a good job of soliciting the product and do it in a tasteful manner. While some just throw up a bunch of hashtagthis and hashtagthat on their social media and call it done. Yes it does get the name out there but some companies don't really need that. Then you have some that are shoving the product down your thoat practically and are ready to fight if you use a different product.

It gets complicated when you are on the field staff of one group and on the field staff of another group but then you have conflicting products. Like one might endorse product A of a seed company and the other group endorses product B. It is hard to trust someone that does that.

I think the value of being field staff is only valued by field staff. It is the same reaction I have when a see the back window of a pick up covered with stickers, what a dumbass.

I think it all depends...some hand out field staff stuff to anyone that simply orders something. Other companies like Real World and others Field Staff is more like Pro Staff for some companies. It is all situational to say the least. Some times being on field staff the first year or two may just get you shipping cost shaved off...until you prove to the company you are worth granting more.

Very true Ty, however there are guys like me that do not buy hunting magazines or watch the hunting shows so pro staff, field staff none of that crap means a damn thing to me. Do you know how you know if a hunter is on a field staff? You don't need to because they will tell you in 30 seconds or less.

I almost hate to say it but here goes, viking fans may have more credibility than a field staffer. Oh sure both groups are drinking the kool-aid but at least the viking fans sober up to their reality when the season is over without making the play offs or winning a championship.

Jealous of the awesomeness that all field staff members seem to possess! The stickers are merely a formality! lol #fieldstaffareawesome!

I agree with most. But if your anything like Chris Bracket then I want nothing to do with you. Hes a major tool who thinks he knows his **** and takes bad/not ethical shots on animals.

    Just my opinion

I am now tempted to start my own staff, ornery curmudgeon field staff. Slogan will be we don't give two craps what you wear shoot or use just shut up and hunt.
