I'm surprised how hard it is to find this info. I'm using Easton Flatline 400 arrows and I just picked up a half dozen from Bass Pro on my lunch. The salesman told me I needed 9/32 field points, but I've seen elsewhere them being equipped with 19/64. I can't seem to find solid info on the diameter of the arrows or which is the proper diameter field point to use. I was going to shoot these when I got home from work but I don't want to risk damaging the arrows for having to small a point. There does seem to be an ever so slight lip when you run your fingernail from the point over the insert ring to the arrow itself, which is what got me looking and a little apprehensive. Is there a problem or should I just fire away? All help is greatly appreciated!

    Fire away....

There is only 1/64" difference between those two field point diameters...

Thanks Buckeye. I figured it shouldn't be critical, but then again I've learned never to assume.

I will say this about the easton chart... for my arrows (Easton Axis 340's) it says 9/32" but the 17/64" fit perfect with the OD of the shaft. When you pull them out of a bag target they never hang but the 9/32" do hang up a little.
