Hi guys I normal never do reviews so it may not be the best this out there. But it maybe it can help someone. I’m a brand new to archery and hunting so wish me luck this year.

So saw the ad for the IQ Bow Sight it sounds like if could be helpful to me being a new archer and all. My first sight was the one that came on my PSE Stinger 3g. It wasn't a bad sight or anything. But I wanted to see if the IQ would really help like it said it does. The guy at bass pro put it on for me. (It took forever for his to try to set it up before I gave up on him and said it was good just so I can leave.) So took it home and reset it up. I did it a lot faster than him. I do have to say it was more work to set up the sight then my PSE one. The best way to set it up is to sight it like any other sight and follow you arrow. After that is to pull your bow and center the green dot. The sight it made make of metal which is nice feels solid but looks a little thin to me. The pins are nice and bright. I took it to my basement to test it out at 10 yard. (I don't normally shoot my bow outside just do to the fact I live in Boston.) I was killing it and 10 yards. So I was feeling good about it. But we all know 10 don’t show much error. The next day I when to the range to shoot at 20 yards. My sight was off a little at 20 but the grouping was good. After I fixed the sight, I was hitting it on the dot but the group was a little wide. But after a few shoot I saw that I was torque just a hair to the right or left every time. So I started anchoring in and got ready and checked the green dot to make sure I wasn’t torque at all. After I fixed that I was nailing it with no space in my grouping. This is getting me pumped for the upcoming season.

So my grouping went from a 5 inch group to 1-2 inch group at 20 yards with the IQ Sight. I feel it did help me. So I would recommend it to anyone that may need help.

I have always been very skeptic about this sight. Glad to hear a clear review.

Glad it helped my friend. I used to use a no peep, which works on the same principle. I like the integrated site/bubble concept and would consider buying the product, but my eyes are too old too see the tinny IQ bubble.

You're not using a peep with it are you?

I bought one in the spring and it really helped my longer distance shooting. I did all the setup on my own and it was a little tricking getting it done without help but once done it is very helpful if you get in the habit of centering the dot first. I use a peep and had to go to a pretty large one to get the entire site, dot and all, into it but am very pleased with it so far.

Just watched a vid on how to set-up, and use the sight.
The fella on the vid set up the sight just the same as any site. Once set up, he was hitting his mark. He then said to bring the retina center to the black dot, and to bring the retina to your form. He stressed the importance of using your form.
The part I don't get is... why bother with the IQ thingy at all. After all. If your shooting the same as you would anyway, isn't this thing just one more thing to have to think about??? If your hitting your mark...your hitting your mark.

If you are already have your form down and you hitting you mark. you don't need this. go with a spot hog or a HHA I heard those are good. but for me being new to the sport and all. I do need all the help I can get. it maybe one more thing to think about but it doesn't take that long and it does help me see that my form is off before i releases. but if you already have you form down then go with something better. but if you don't then this can help you if you want to try it. and I did find it to be helpful for me. and i didn't see any reviews on it so that why i wrote one. being a good or bad review IDK but it just my view of how it worked for me.

I was in the same boat as you. I had what I felt was good form and was pretty consistent before getting the IQ. The thing is, now I am even more consistent, meaning that my shorter yardage (40 yards & in) have tighter groups and my longer shots (40 yards & out) are more consistent. What the dot has done is show me that when I tense up because of the pressure of making longer shots or trying to have tighter groups I would torque the bow just slightly which would make the shots slightly off. If you set the sight up properly and use the dot it will help your shooting. I still won't be shooting at a deer over 40-45 yards because I don't think it is a good idea. But, shooting the target at the longer distances makes those shorter (10-40 yards) shots seem like point blank.

All it is is a confirmation of form and torque. I dont really see the need to use a peep with it. But I can understand the confidence gained.
