How many bows do most of you guys and gals have that you use during a hunting season? Second how many of you you upgrade your bow with each new bow that comes out? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
I get a new bow every year, but might not this year. Love my energy. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I just have one. I wish i could have a few different bows just to play around with but my wife shuts that idea down quick. I might upgrade this winter but still not sure. Usually keep my bows for a while when i get them.
I have one and I've had it for a long time... beware of the hunter with one [gun] bow - for s/he knows how to use it.
I hunt with one bow. The bow was purchased new last year and there is nothing that holds my interest to change that. I own two bows and both are Mathews. My daughter has a bow tech that collects dust....teenagers.
I have two bows and I hunt with both during hunting season. I am going to start hunting different states more and more so I bought a second bow as a backup for when I travel. Normally, if I kill a deer with one, I will use the other one until I kill one with it. However, I use my Creed mostly on my first property because I hunt a set stand and the yardages I can shoot are not long shots. Though I practice and can make accurate shots up to 60 yards with my Creed, I don't have a shot of that distance on this property. I use my Z7 Magnum when I hunt my second property because I have the potential for a long shot there. (Though I never try to take a shot over 40 yards with a bow) I may have to there based on the stand I am hunting that sit. My Z7 Magnum is faster than my Creed and shoots flatter at longer yardages. So I use it there just in case.
I currently own one bow. I have owned this bow for 3 years now and have shot a least one deer with it every year since I have had it. It is not the fastest, quietest, or lightest bow out there but I can not make myself get another one. It is a lot like a relationship. It is fun to look at the merchandise but at the end of the day you know who you are really in love with. HAHAHA
Have had one bow for the past 6 years, it's getting a face lift this year(new limbs). Plan to use it for another 6. It's a 2008 ross cardiac, and it shoots way to good to hang up. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I have one, got it used last year to start with. Thought that if bow hunting turned into something I could see myself doing for awhile I'd get a new one this year. And honestly I haven't found one that for the money I'd have to spend to really say it would be worth it to me. Lord knows I've tried to justify it and shot alot of the new ones, just can't say I need it.
I run one bow. I hunt the same types of properties with the same types of shots so it only makes sense to have one for me. I love my bow. I have been shooting other bows at the shops and every time I'm reminded how in love with my bow I am. If I hunted mule deer, as well, I'd consider an additional distance set-up.
I only have one bow. I bought my Z7 Extreme used last year. I had a Parker Wildfire XP before my Matthews for 6 or 7 years. The Parker was the first bow that I had ever hunted with. I have looked at other new bows this year and just can't find anything that makes me want anything different. I don't see myself getting another bow anytime soon. The technology has not changed enough to make my bow outdated. I don't see that I would pick up any real advantage by shooting anything else. My Z7 is plenty fast. The draw cycle is super smooth, and it's one of the quietest bows that I've ever shot.
I have 4 bows right now i use 2 during the hunting season my creed xs and backup creed i also have a heli m and z7 extreme just hanging around but i sell my bow or trade up each year for the new flagship bow or ill just buy it if i want to keep my last bow which ive been having trouble with the last few i got i liked them so much i kept them this time insted of selling them plus its nice to have a couple so i can show friends or family how to shoot or bring them to the range with me and they have a blast and its not messing up my bow im using if something happens.
Well I kept my Reezen until 2013 when I bought a new creed. I'm the type that will try and sell something that I don't use to buy something I will use, so I sold my Harley, and used some of the money to buy a Hoyt carbon spyder 30.
