How many of you guys hunt fence lines. I’ve been hunting hard timber for the past 4 years. Biggest deer I’ve seen is 135. A buddy of mine hunts a fence line and shoots a 150+ every other year. Have you switched from timber to fence lines and seen a difference?

I used to hunt fence lines all the time. Now I hunt in the woods more. I have shot my two biggest on fence lines between two major woods, but most deer you see are out in the fields. In the woods, most deer I see are inside 50 yards.

I usually set up just inside the trees on the ends of fence lines. Almost always see a deer doing that compared to hunting in the trees further.
