I'm looking to get a feeder for the yard of my cabin that will be used during the winter months when the deer yard up in the valley we are in. We have the perfect view from the cabin down to the river and it would be a great spot to get deer coming in all winter long. I'd like to find something under $200 that works well. I would love to hear suggestions.

Here are a few pics of deer from the cabin I took last weekend.

Sweet lookin pics buddy! I'm ready for next thanksgiving to get up there and put a spitfire through some northern NH whitetail.

I got dad a 30 gallon moultrie bucket style feeder last year and it seems to work well. I can't remember the model, but I remember it being in the 50$-70$ range.

Just get one ran on a battery or in your case you honestly could probably run a long extension cord and wouldn't have to worry about batteries it being in your yard. We've had great luck with our cheap model that holds I believe 30-40 gallons. *Wanted to clarify: we only use ours post season for a few weeks to see what lived, we only continue feeding for more weeks if winter is bad.
