Feather Helix Fletching

    Interested in knowing whether i can use a regular helix fletching jig for mounting my new feather vanes.?

    Are you using feathers or vanes? there is a difference. Also, what length?

    Edit: this will only work with a Blazer type vane or equvilent(sp?) like a Duravane Predator or HP Vane.

    If you're wondering if you can fletch a feather with a helical jig the answer is; it depends. The jig you have has to match the feather that you're using. A right helical jig is used for fletching right wing feathers, LH for LW.
