After a difficult track job..Fergie Buck Down.

Gut shot, wasn't sure of the hit so I backed out and jumped him in the process my wife and I went in today, he bedded down in different areas throughout the night and the tracking job was damn near impossible but we were both equally as excited when we were talking about it and I looked to my right and it was laying 5 feet from me.

The meat was harvested and I do plan to eat it. The time of the shot was 10 minutes past four yesterday and the recovery and harvest was at 8-830 am the next day, of course the deer did not expire right away and may have lived well into the night, with the temp around 55 degrees here. The meat looked good and I'm confident it will tast good.
