Just grabbed my camera after setting it up on a plot that I did some work with and finished a new pond project. Got a few cool pictures, including this fawn and mother. I call this doe, Doezilla, as she is old and has the body size of a buck. Last year she had twins. Photo was taken May 27th at 4 in the afternoon.

Anyone else getting some pictures on cameras? If so share! Also, how long do you think a fawn will take to get up and walk around. I know our beef cattle calves will be up and walking (doesnt look pretty) within the day.

a fawn will be up on all 4s trying to walk within 2-3 hrs - they can run easily within 2 days this little guy was born on may 31 approximately 15 hrs before this pic if I identified the doe correctly - taken with a fuji j10 homebrew w/SSII controlboard
