I will have to say I was alittle skeptical about using a fawn bleat....but it works. Was sitting in the stand yesterday morning and havn't seen anything so I decided to throw out a fawn bleat. Not even thirty seconds I was surprised by a big ol doe charging in at about 30 yards. Couldn't get a good shot on her. But it was pretty exciting seeing the fawn bleat work....

It's always cool to see deer respond to calls.

I got bored and tried it during the summer off my four wheeler and within a minute I had a big ol' doe standing 15 yards away from me not caring I was there. Definitely gonna try it on the seaon opener next weekend!

How many bleats did you do? how long did each last? I've been wanting to try this. Blind calling isn't my favorite thing to do, but I think I could give it a shot.

There are a cople of good videos on Youtube about it. I did a 10-15 second sequence of fawn distress calls and the doe was ontop of me in about 30 seconds.

I can HONESTLY say that the Primos "Can" does work. No game call will ever work all the time, but I've had a number of deer react to this call. It sounds EXACTLY like a doe in estrus (sp). This and a True Talker grunt tube are all I ever use during the rutting period.
