Im a Packers fan, but i do have to agree with you. I like MM, but not TT. I think TT could have waited 1-2 more years for his "dynasty" to take over and let the Favre dynasty runs its course. We were primed for another championship run when Favre said he would come back, and thats stuff of legend. Now its just a huge mess.

The LONE positive result is the emergence of Rodgers. That California boy can throw a pigskin, he'll be an annual Pro Bowler especially with Jennings as his first option for years to come.

When people come out of retirement in the "real world" it's not blown up all over the media.

    He's ruining his legacy.

I completely agree with AL, we dislike him because of the off the field stuff.

    So blame the media!

Any NFL fan who really loves the game can see that the media takes things OVERBOARD with the Favre stuff. Just a few weeks ago the TOP story on ESPN was how his family rented 21 rooms for the Packers-Vikings game...THATS NOT NEWS!!!

man, go see the kid play in person, he waits to long to make decisions, he's not a great leader, he's not a great QB... he's mid pack in the nfl at best and if he makes a pro-bowl i'll eat crow...

Well said Caleb. That's like anyone of us hunting for a living and deciding to stop because we got "burn out". Then realizing that it was a mistake to stop doing something we love. The only difference is Farve is in the spotlight.

And Farve isn't ruining his legacy. Emmitt Smith played twelve seasons with the Cowboys and then went to Arizona and played for the Cardinals for two years. That didn't ruin his legacy in my opinion. Probably wasn't the smartest move on his part, but he wanted to continue to play and I can't knock him for that

I'm a Bears Fan...but I still want to see him back...he's good for TV - and most people complaining would still tune in to either root FOR or AGAINST him...that's why NFL dominates all other sports in ratings.
Just another reason I'm ready for fall.
