Easier to "just be a receiver"? Ummm this isn't high school football. You don't just "be an NFL receiver lol. There's a little more to it than draw a play in the dirt or just go long and I'll throw it to you. Vick is a QB and if he has any chance of revitalizing his career it will be as what he knows how to do and that is the quarterback position.

Look at the Qb's who switched to WR,

Seneca Wallace, Kordell Stewert. Marcus Vick...

They might not be GREAT, or even GOOD, but they are on a roster which Vick is not. Micheal Vick will never be a starting quarterback again.

I am not excusing what he did in any way (Michael Vick) but the man served his time.He shouldn't be barred from participating in any thing. No different from any other profession. If a team doesn't want to take him on that's their perogative,if you don't want to buy a ticket to watch him play that's your perogative, but he shouldn't be blocked from engaging in his profession.

Why do you say that? Because he's been away from the game for 2 years? You don't forget how to do something you've been doing all your life in 18 months. Do you think Tom Brady will never be a starting QB again too? He's been out for a year.

Tom Brady will never be an MVP again, thats for sure. Name a big name player who suffered a major injury or left the NFL completely for an amount of time and came back 100%. Tom Brady will still be able to play QB, but you cant compare Mike Vick and Tom Brady.

Warner last year was pretty close to 100% of his MVP days. I do agree about not being able to compare Vick and Brady. Vick's all show, Brady just wins.

You may have a point, but i have always considred Warner one of the top 10 QB's EVER. What he has doen after people told him he wouldnt be anything is just amazing.

Of course it helps having Isaac Bruce, Torry Holt, Larry Fitzgerald, Anquan Boldin, Edgerrin James and Marshall Faulk on your team.
