I think this move is gonna "tarnish his legacy" more than if he came back and put up horrible numbers. It almost seems like he just wanted the attention one last time.

Every other time before this I would agree with you Joe.... but this time I have feeling he IS done. He had a chance at his post Packer goal and that was to be a Viking. He passed on it. I feel the only thing still keeping him going at this point was he wanted to stick it to TT for not wanting him back. Well he passed on that chance. What other good reason is there for him to come back?

Having said all that, I would not bet anything on him not coming back. Certainly stranger things have happened.

I'm willing to bet his "surgery" didn't go as planned. He should stay retired and go and enjoy his family! Good luck Brett!

I agree too Joe. To be honest I was really hoping he'd make the move to Mn. He's still much better then anything the Vikes have right now If he was healthy IMHO.

Why would the Vikings want Vick. They already have a running back.

Vick is a QB that's why.

They can have him. A criminal getting a conditional reinstatement to go back and make more millions. Most felons in this country can't even get a minimum wage job after serving a sentence.

As for Favre, I have a lot of respect for him as a quarterback, but he should have just sat this one out. I suppose between him and Manny, it gave Sportscenter something to talk about EVERY morning.

Vikes have zero interest in Vick.

I know Vick is a QB. My original post was a joke. I've always considered him a better runner than a passer.

Vick might be smart to switch to a receiver this year. If he is truthful about getting back into the game, then he could become a very dangerous multi-threat for some team.

I wouldn't mind the Packers having him as a receiver/kick returner/QB, imagine the trick plays you could chalk up with Micheal Vick split out wide.

I know dog-fighting is horrible, but alot of athletes have done MUCH worse...

ie...Tyson (rape), Kobe (rape), OJ (murder)..the list goes on.

vick is still a better qb than anything else in minnie..........

with vick at the helm he could take the vikes to the playoffs....

edit to add - make no mistake, I'm NO vick fan, but you can't deny the man's talent...

    Talent...yes

    Rust...more then my truck

Its easier to just be a receiver, he is physically gifted!
