My 2006 2500 duramax. I drive it 45 miles each way to work everyday. It used to be my toy but too easy to dump money on. .
Here are the two project vehicles. The Blue one is pretty much a bone stock '62 CJ-5 (anybody have a F-134 engine that the don't want??) with a seized engine and the mulit-colored one is my Frankenjeep. Mid '50's .mil frame (same size as the '62), the purple tub is a '49 CJ-3A, the red front clip is from a '47 CJ-2A, it has a '77 Buick V-6 in the frame rails, mated to the stock T90 trans/Dana18 X-fer case, PTO and Warn OD all stacked on it. A 2" suspension and a 2" body lift. It did have a set of 33x12.50's under it to see if they would fit. I also have the matching PTO driven winch for the front end... as long as the engine stays running the weak part is the u-joints and/or driveshaft from the PTO to the winch!
My three favorites... '78 Chevy K-10, 7"lift, 355 cid bored, balanced with 4.56 gears and 40" tires. Built it myself, would go anywhere. Oh, and the fenders were stretched 4" to fit the tires. '73 Gremlin X bored and balanced 401 cid. 4 speed then B&M racing torque flight trans. Built it myself. 11 second car in the mid '70's. My bat out of hell harley. "07 Softail Custom.Mega work. Dealer built 110 inch engine.117 hp. It is for sale.
No pics but I guess my favorite would have been my first car-a '64 Corvair convertible. It was the car I learned to drive on and I remember some fun times with that vehicle, 'course I was MUCH younger then. Wish I still had that car! Blessings........Pastorjim
favorite was my 83 Jeep CJ7... came with the 6cyl, but after I put in a 302 and T18 tranny, that thing could climb trees... my ride now... 2003 Darango, 98 sportster, 09 Ultra Classic, and 2012 custom hardtail chopper (built that one from scratch myself)
One of my trucks was a 1976 Ford pickup with a utility body. It had a 360 engine and got around 8 mpg. I didn't care back then because gas was around $1.20 a gallon. Now it's $4-5 where I live.
