I like Moultrie. (I am guessing 3 for Moultrie, 11 for Covert, 2 for Bushnell, 2 for Stealth Cams and 1 for Spypoint.)
Covert The batteries last a year, the trigger time is less then 1 second, and several models cost less then $200. What more could you ask for?
Covert is the first brand I bought and it will be the last brand I ever buy. I bought a Covert MPE5 for $110 and IMO there is no better cam for the money. The battery life on them is amazing and I've heard from others that they have excellent customer service. Here are some pics from all different times of the day.
Simple menus with a screen on the inside. You don't even have to turn it off to check the memory cards....just open it and click the tab to settings (Shows how many pics its taken), swap cards, and click it back to on.
I've become a big fan of black flash cameras. Especially for videos. I'm currently running a Stealth Cam Sniper Shadow & a Covert Black60. Both are great cameras.
Ive never had an issue...is there a risk of corruption? I always assumed the camera was disarmed while on "settings" so it was safe to remove hardware?
I did not know that... I just pop them out and pop in the new one... Thanks for the heads up! Oh yeah... Covert is my recommendation...
Bushnell make some great trail cameras and VERY easy to set up. If you want some good reviews for trail cams check this site out. Trail Cameras, Game Cameras tests and unbiased reviews of Camera Traps
