I do not drink any energy drinks or coffee so I have to have a Mountain Dew in the morning (sometimes 2 ) but I like Canada Dry Ginger Ale the best. A good Root Beer in a frosted mug is also hard to beat.
It really has to be fresh brewed with either no sweetness or just a little ... I make it at home with fresh lemon and a little splenda ... just a little ...
There are 3 I rotate through, grape, orange, and cranberry-raspberry. Sometimes rootbeer, too. We use the sodastream system and make our own soda and sparkling water.
Water while working or fishing... Unsweet Iced Tea with meals... Black Coffee when I have nothing to do but relax.
I generally stay away from the stuff, but I do live me some rootbeer! I have it 5 or 6 times a year. http://rootbeerlady.com/store/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=3&products_id=45
When I was drinking pop...yes I said POP...not soda I was drinking Mt. Dew. LOVE that stuff. But, it doesn't really go well with the "getting in to shape" program I am working on. Well, not on a daily basis anyway. I do indulge every once in a while!
I've had that a couple times. I've also been by the island where she lived and made the original stuff. Pretty cool.
I gave up soda few months ago. Favorite soda was Mountain Dew (original) when I drank soda. Now, I'm a big fan of Mio and Mio energy.
Tom, if you ever see it in your travels, try Blenheim ginger ale. Root beer, is good on occasion as is a good cre am soda or birch beer. Being most of these are less common in the south Coke with real lime is my drink of choice.
