I have been looking for sometime for a more durable broadhead and i've decided i want to give slick tricks a try. I am kinda stuck on which one to get though. I know they are all probably great broadheads and all get the job done but if you have tried more than one or noticed one that had/has better penetrating than the others, which one was it. Any recomendations would be helpful.

    Thanks guys

I used to use the ST standards, then switched to Rages. I am thinking about switching back to some ST Magnums, unless somewhere posts here saying the Grizz Tricks are better or something.

I also used rages a few years ago but i want to switch to a more durable broadhead where i can shoot more than 1 deer with a broadhead and was also debating between magnums and grizz tricks :/

I went with the magnums, just switched to them this year actually. Previously used rages. I have only had the chance to put down a doe this year but the results were impressive. Went in high on the impact side and busted straight out the center of the shoulder on the opposite side, she went maybe 50 yards. Blades were still very sharp and the tip was as well, so I'm sold on the durability. I haven't heard enough on the grizz tricks yets so I would give the magnums a try for at least a couple seasons

If I remember right, Buckeye used Grizz Tricks last season or the year before. I could be mistaken though

I've used standard slick tricks for awhile, shot a doe last year great hit. Blood trail was almost nonexistent. Deer went maybe 100 yards recovered. Shot another doe years ago must hit an artery because bleed like a stuck pig went 75 yards. I'm thinking of selling all the ones I have left and trying Grizz tricks.

I used ST Magnums last year. Took my first deer ever with them. I also shot high on the kill zone and it came out in front of the offside front shoulder. She only went 10 yards! The blades did get some knicks in them but i put the sharpener to em and they are back to razor sharp again. Definitly worth trying since they are fairly cheap and super sharp out of the package.

I think i was also leaning a little more towards the magnums for that reason. That and they are $23 with free shipping on ebay lol

I haven't killed any deer with them, but I'm a big fan of the grizz tricks. They fly like field points and bigger is better right!? I did ruin the blades when I was trying them out, however that was because at 50 yards the broadheads were going into the target and contacting each other. I will be using slick tricks next year for sure.

Haven't connected yet with deer but Grizzes fly awesome and penetrate deep... Exactly like my field points. Inch and a quarter four blades through the boiler is going to be just plain nasty.
