So many good ones. Hard to compare sometimes.

Some of mine (In order of preference):
(Admittedly I have not tried all top shelf whiskeys.)

    1. Famous Grouse
    2. Pendleton
    3. Knobb Creek

At one of our recent UFC gatherings with all the guys, one of the gang brought some sort of top-shelf whiskey and I think my lips were burning for ten minutes after I tried some...

I told him he didn't have to worry about me drinking any of his whiskey and went right back to my Newcastle! :lmao:

I have never been a hard liquor drinker, my body just doesn't accept it for some reason. BUT, when I was in college I worked at a hotel during the summer and my boss and I became good friends. Some nights after work, he would say, "Brett, I bought two bottles of Early times....". Right then and there I knew it was going to be a long night....next thing I knew I would be hanging out with women 10 years older than me...LOL. And all the blame falls on this cheap A whiskey...

I've never seen Honorable Husband drink anything other than Jack Daniels Black Label. I'm sure their is a difference depending on ingredients, aging, etc. I'll have to wait to try some until I'm old enough, (and definitely not pregnant.)

Ron Zacapa or Zaya Gran Reserva...rum

sorry, I sip good rum - had a, er...bad experience with whiskey when I was in high school and the stuff still turns my stomach to even smell it (think lamp shades on your head, extreme fun slurring and blacking out and being left in someones front yard by your friends kind of experience)...

Jose Quervo is the only thing I'll drink. No salt, lime, lemon... or whatever. Throw it in a glass and chug away.
