Anyone have any favorite aftermarket nerf bars? If so, what are they and why? I ordered a 2018 Tundra without running boards because of all the rocky terrain we hunt in.... However, the truck with the Icon suspension is going to be a little tall for a lot of our hunters (and my kids) to get in and out of comfortably. Any suggestions?

I just went with the step style rather than running boards.

N-Fab is nice. I went with Iron Cross Patriots. Great company that supports veterans, and it was a compromise between the larger factory steps, and the N-Fabs. They have a great flat profile for my short wife as well as helping me get my son in and out of his car seat.

They also make some other really nice looking steps.

I just build my own out of screws and fiberglass strap/rope. They just fold up whenever you run over something that hits them. Nylon rope can be substituted but it melts when driving through fire and hemp burns.

Actually these are what I used on my F-250 and have been happy with them.

Well they were cheap and have served the purpose. I went with the black, I trimmed my truck in black rather than chrome because the truck is ingot silver. The extra step at the tool box has been fantastic.

Yeah mine are black too. There’s not one piece of chrome on my truck, I know some people like it but I think it’s awful lol

I went with a cheaper tube style bar and had them line-x sprayed. They turned out great. Would hold up well in the rocky terrain you mentioned.

If you got a Ford you could have gotten power deploying ones from the factory. :poke::chewy:
