So i am curious.. many of us on here are avid sportsmen/hunters. If you had to choose your favorite gun what would it be and why?

For me it has to be my Remington 870 slug gun with a nikon scope on top. It is not nearly the nicest or best shooting gun I own, but there is a lot of sentimental value associated with it. I killed my first deer with it when I was 11 and I have killed every other shotgun deer with that same gun!

When I use it, it reminds me of sitting in a deer stand with my dad learning how to hunt!

I really enjoy shooting my Colt 1911 Light Weight Defender the most of my pistols.

I have a couple favorite rifles so I can't pick one. Well.... I really like the S&W M&P 15-22 I have. It runs flawlessly and it is cheap to shoot. It get's a lot of bonus points in the like category because of the low cost operation.

I do not have a favorite shotgun, they are all whatevs' to me.

My favorite I own is my old lever action Marlin 32 Special. It is the gun I shot my first deer(buck) with at 13years old. My father handed it down to me after passing my hunters safety courses and it was his fathers before that. Love that gun!! Still hunt with it every year I can get back to PA for rifle season(no rifle season here in RI). Its a great woods gun.

I have a Remington 700 30-06 that I love. It has tons of sentimental value to me, my grandpa gave it to me a year before their house burnt down and both grandparents passed away. I doubt I ever sell a gun, but this one is staying with me forever for sure.

I have about 6 that were my grandfathers that all mean the world to me. I would never get rid of them for the world. I have another 6 I picked up on my own but none that Im attached to. Of the guns I have, I think my old 1100 20g gets the most love. Its one of my grandfathers. Ive done the most with it. From sporting clays to well over 100 miles of walking for grouse. Even turkey hunt with it, but hoping to upgrade to a 12g this year for them. I have a few 12s but dont like how they pattern, out to about 35 yards the 20 is best. But its time to upgrade there. Hopefully this season if not next for sure.

    Boy this is tough.

It is either my new Browing X-bolt rifle or my Berreta 20 gauge over/under.

My favorite....would be my extremely old single shot .22 short rifle. It was my great-grandfather's first gun and was his sole weapon for many many years. Thing is ancient but yet still very accurate! I don't ever use it though...honestly the one gun I wouldn't want to be without is my other .22 handed down from the other side grandpa.

My rifles and handguns are nothing special to me, but the first browning maxus I bought will be something I hope to pass on to a son. It's been with me on a lot of firsts including first dove, duck, pheasant, quail, goose and turkey. I even favor this one over the second maxus I bought just because of the memories attached to it.

Hard to choose but I guess my favorite is my lil Savage combo O/U. .22 on top 20ga on bottom with shell storage in the buttstock for both. Its just a small cool little gun and its great for trapping. Plus I have never seen to many of that combo. Lots of the .22 - .410 and occasionally the bigger 30-30 / 12ga, but the only .22-20 I have ever personally seen is the one I own

Hands down BAR 30.06. I don't even know how many guns I have but that BAR is so accurate and with the gas operation, it is almost without recoil. Saweeeet setup with my Nikon 3-9 with flip open lens caps.

Favorite is hard to say.. If I had to throw it out there, I would say my new Browning A5. The Browning Abolt comes in a close second though for sure.

I have three A5s... One has a 22 inch barrell with Iron Sights... It is unbelievably accurate but man... it kicks like a mule. I still love it though.

My favorite is Winchester model 52b sporter. I have an original, and Utah Centennial Reproduction. I also build a sporter off of a 52 action I had. And I have one barreled action that I haven't decided what to do with yet.
