I have watched every BHOD episode to date, and I love them all. By far my favorite hunting show. However, there is one episode that I watch every time I get depressed about it being the off season. Season 4, Episode 23 "The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly". This is where Todd gets an entire episode. He has bad luck so many times. Everything from the places he hunted, to the emotional roller coaster that he experienced are what make it my favorite. If you haven't watched it, I would strongly urge you to. That is all. 50 days until October. Until then, keep reminiscing.
What? My all time favorite is you spine slamming that fawn. https://www.bowhunting.com/video/minnesota-doe-harvest-2010/
I've watched every episode and there are so many good ones, I think season 3 episode 17 "Smackdown" has to be one of my favorites. I really love the episodes where the emotion is just so real, it makes the episode so vivid and just highlights the passion that a lot of us have for bow hunting. I really liked so many of Clinton's hunts, and Dean Krueger's which have been awesome. Another one of my favorites is when Frankie rattled in that buck from halfway across the state and killed him making a scrape in that little plot. Rut hunts are always exciting and usually are some of the better episodes but I just watched Clinton's hunt with his boy and in my opinion that might be the best episode to date. That's what it's all about.
Clinton's harvest after the family loss still is tough for me to watch....that hunt is the by far my favorite over the years and hits to the core of hunting for me....at times it is therapy...
I would add another short movie to this list: Donnie Vincents' "The Rivers Divide". Definitely worth a watch!
While I love Donnie and basically all his videos and River's Divide is epic...this post is about BHOD episodes so confused about adding Donnie's River's Divide to the list
