I've always had trouble finding something to wear hunting in the early season here in Missouri. September 15th through about the 3rd week of October is still pretty hot here in NW Mo. What do you wear to beat the heat but remain concealed in the very early season?

There's a variety of light-weight hunting garments out there these days to pick from. Personally, I wear the ScentBlocker XLT pants and an S3 bamboo shirt. The shirt is great b/c it's very light weight and wicks moisture.

    I'll be wearing these pants - http://robinsonoutdoors.com/shopping/Products/Mathews-Solo-XLT-Pant__LC7000.aspx

    and this shirt - http://robinsonoutdoors.com/shopping/Products/Mathews-S3-Bamboo-LS-Shirt__LC3000.aspx

Also, when it's really warm out I skip the rubber boots b/c my feet roast in them. I go with a short hiking boot and just make sure to spray down really well before heading in. Justl like when my feet get cold, I've found when they get really hot I'm very uncomfortable and can't sit still.

I've got a set of these boots here and they rock. Love the BOA lacing system - http://robinsonoutdoors.com/shopping/Products/Mathews-Boa-Hiker__MBH.aspx

UA make a real light weight long sleeve shirt that great for hot weather but make sure you buy two sizes larger unless your ripped and just want to show off:) Then I where the pants to bug suit with shorts underneath and rubber boots.

I wear the under armor long sleeve loose gear shirt, its awesome. My legs do not really get to hot, but wear thin camos. I got some new danner jackel boots I think will be great. I can't wear the rubber boots in Ga. til oct or nov.

Last seaon I wore a plain long sleve tee and plain hunting pants from Wally World. This year I am wearing a Mossy Oak Break-Up Infinity Moisture wicking shirt and regular Mossy Oak pants with light weight gloves. I will also be wearing the same boots I use for scouting. I only use them for scouting, setting stands and planting food plots. I too will be spraying down really heavilly. It is pretty warm here in NC still come September 10th.
