Favorite Card Games

No limit poker and spades.

 

Loved playing spades the one year in college I lived in the dorms... it was a nightly thing then.

 

Spades and Poker all the way. Haven't played spades in years but me and a buddy made a lot of money playing the Homies back in the day.

 

Stadium is pretty nice. I just wish it was downtown. I've played Hand in Foot many times. Great game.

 

Love playing pitch. We used to play every weekend, but here lately just get together around the holidays. I know it's not cards, but I also enjoy dominos (cut throat)!

 

One more for the Sheepshead.....GFY, Kramer, we should start a sheepshead night !!!

BTW, I think Sheepshead is more of a SE Wisconsin thing...if you find someone from even Northern Wisconsin playing it, most likely, they are transplants from SE Wisconsin. BTW, yo ucan go the yahoo games and play live sheepshead with live people !!!

Cribbage is my second favorite !

Quite a few people in the Chippewa Falls area here play. Get out towards Tilden and even more play.

 

same here, used to have a nice game going. right now my fav would be spades.

i also love any domino game and GO http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Go_(game) has got to be my all time fav game since i was a kid. not cards but still a blast!

 

I think the reason Wisconsin has such a Sheepshead following is the strong German roots here.

I did not know you could play Sheepshead on-line. Going to have to check that out.
