    forgot to mention Lone Buffalo in downtown Ottawa, IL. Food is excellent. I have not tried the craft beers as I have become more of a bourbon snob.

    Surly's-MPLS is Decent, kind of an arrogant vibe there
    Schells brewery-New Ulm, MN (2nd oldest family owned brewery in the US) is pretty cool

    otherwise the local ones such as JackPine brewery in Brainerd, MN

    along with some craft beers, I usually have Molson, Labatts, or Grainbelt in my fridge, the craft stuff starts to all taste the same

    Been there; the food was good. Don't remember the beer but doesn't mean it was bad. I drink a lot of beer so it's hard to remember all of them.
    If you're a bourbon snob if you get the chance hit Journeyman's in Sawyer MI.

    Does my cousin's still (I mean er umm "mobile distillery") count? That stuff is as micro brew as it gets. he can make a banana shine that's out of the freaking world:nana::beer:

    I had my first taste of banana shine this past deer season and it was amazing and very dangerous!
