My request this year from the wife and kids was get me nothing for fathers day. I have a $25 gift card from Bass Pro and I just want them to pay the rest of the bill for my first trail camera.

What do I want? What features do I need to have?

Total bill needs to be under $150 or so:

    Help

The Covert or for that kind of money I also like the Moultrie M80.

    Depends on what you want

DLC Covert reveal for flash or DLC Covert MP6 for IR

Happy shopping but trail cameras are like that potato chip commercial you can't have just 1 :D

I still have not pulled the trigger on this yet. I have to keep it under $150, but $129-$119 would be better.

I have the bass pro shop fall 2012 archery mag and I have read everything there is in there. I have also looked online and read about every thread on here about trail cameras. I sure do like the Covert, but Bass Pro doesn't carry it and it is out of my price range. My wife and kids are springing for this and I want to cover the rest with a Gift card I have been holding onto since Christmas.

I have never owned one and as a cheap 44 year old man. I don't want to make a mistake.

I have no problem with someone saying, "get this one....you can't go wrong!"
