I am not a father but was talking with my old man yesterday about what he wanted for fathers day, came to the conclusion he wanted a new pack of broadheads. Got me thinking, anybody hoping for something special this fathers day? Or are you just planning a relaxing day at home?
I hope to get a new lightweight floor jack or a new pressure washer. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
Spend time with my family, I can buy stuff, can't buy time. As much as I tell my wife that, she still feels the need to buy me something.
That's true. The older I get I look to buy things that reduce my time doing chores so I can spend more quality time with my family. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
I think there is a reason they made Father's Day in June - it is offseason for hunting. Therefore, I am looking forward to spending time with my family so that when it comes time for my Bday in October I can get out in the woods
i'll have a chaotic day (weekend) with my daugher's travel softball tournament AND my other daughter's dance recital. Mix in one of their birthdays and it just becomes a stressful cluster! But I wouldn't trade it for the world...
I will settle for sleeping in and homemade cinnamon rolls for breakfast. Otherwise, time with my wife and kids in good enough.
Hoping for a nice breakfast with the family, and maybe the words Dada coming out my daughters mouth. She’s got Mama down pat, time for her to say Daddy lol.
My girls are 16 and 10 and I still insist on songs, dances or anything homemade. If I want **** from the store I'll go buy it.
My daughters already got me a gift card to ****s. Also hoping to get a new backpack for the upcoming season!! Mine is just about done!
Am I in the minority here that I think its strange that everyone seems to want to spend time with their family for fathers day? Guess what? I spend 7 days a week with my family. My perfect fathers day is I get to sleep in. My wife and kid are already gone when I wake up. Maybe I go for a bike ride, go golfing with my buddies, grill out. I don't really care. At about 8pm my wife and kid come back home and I tell them how fun my day was. But, what I'm actually doing is going to my in-laws and sitting there.
Just looking forward to great weather and being outside! Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
That is the best thing in the world, mine is 2.5 already. Do not blink, it goes by so fast. I miss having him sleep on my chest, I always had sleeping issues, but when he was on my chest I would be out like a light.
My daughter and her husband, my son and his girlfriend and my inlaws came over for dinner, it was a good day all you could ever want on a Sunday afternoon.
