The father then allegedly punched the man in the head until he died, Harmon reported. The father and daughter weren't named to protect the identity of the 4-year-old girl. She was described as "ok, besides the obvious mental trauma" of the incident, Harmon said. The alleged abuser was found dead at the scene. His name wasn't released pending the announcement of his death to his family. The sheriff's office will defer to a grand jury to decide whether charges will be brought against the father. "You have a right to defend your daughter," he told CNN. "[The girl's father] acted in defense of his third person. Once the investigation is completed we will submit it to the district attorney who then submits it to the grand jury, who will decide if they will indict him." The father was reportedly "very remorseful" about the death and did not know the alleged abuser would die of his injuries.
I would have done the same. If anyone ever touches one of my girls, he better hope the Police find him before I do. God may have mercy on him, but I damn sure won't
I think the father was leanant on the guy. He should of let the rest of the girls family members, friends and concerned citizen get a shot at him.

I think this is instant karma and justice and I hope the fella does not get in trouble for his actions but I’ll bet that if faced with this same event, he would do it again to protect his daughter.
I would have done the same thing without even thinking twice about it. His 4 year old daughter cannot defend herself, that is his job and he did it well. He is a hero to me. You don't have to worry about that idiot doing it to no other child.
Well for openers as far as the investigation goes all you have is a dead guy and another guy with bruised knuckles and a story. It will take a fair amount of forensic investigation to determine what really happened. Homicides like this one usually go through a lot of procedure before it is determined to be justified. They will interview the child. They will give the guy a lie detector test. They will interview witnesses as to what happened that day and where everybody was. All is never what it seems or what was claimed. If the story does not hold water then there will likely be a trial. A trial does not mean you are guilty. It means it could go either way.
I am suprised we dont hear about this happening more. I would have done the same thing except the remorseful part.
I don't think anyone would be able to refrain themselves in that situation a 4 year old cmon... And I bet other people come forward and say he was weird with their kids or he has done it before. He obviously had a huge problem if he was doing it with other people around in a public place!!!
My thoughts exactly. Last Friday a man was arrested for raping a 6 year old in a library bathroom. Right next to the library is the area Police Station. Only 50 yds away. Killing a piece of crap like that only solves part of the problem. Dillow was on probation at the time of his arrest. Now, he's being held without bond at the Montgomery County Jail.
The man was "caught in the act" of molesting his daughter....The only thing he's innocent of was the time before he put his slimy hands on that innocent child. Heaven forbid if that was my child I'd blown the mother-effer's head off!
Thats what the man claims. We don't know it to be fact. I have no issue with him beating him to death if that is the fact of the case but I imagine the 4 year old also witnessed the beating which would also be traumatic. The adults were shoeing a horse and had sent the 4-year-old and her brother to feed chickens when the attack occurred, a relative told KPRC. The children's grandfather said the boy returned to alert his father that the little girl had been taken away by a man. The father found the pair partially naked, investigators told KPRC. "In the course of trying to get her away from him, and protect her, he struck the subject several times in the head and the subject died," Harmon told KPRC. "There doesn't appear to be any reason other than what he told us."
