Why do so many of you care what people make? What they want to fight for? Hell most here don't even eat at these places, so why care?
I don't care what people make. It just annoys me when people ***** about pay in their current job and demand that they be paid more, instead of actually trying to become more valuable and actually earn more money based on merit or skill.
Don't let others annoy you hook, like tfox pointed out, let the owners handle it. If the fire them, so be it.
Hey I asked first, sob I don't care, I just find in humorous folks care what people make and fight for.
It's this type of attitude that's bankrupted Detroit. Pay us want we want or we'll picket your business till you do or close you down. It's terrorism at it's root. IMO It's why so many of our jobs are done in China now. As mentioned above, if you are really worth $15 an hour to that company then you'd be making that. Sometimes the job doesn't warrant the salary you desire. I try to pay people what they are worth to me and my clients. I'm not creating brain surgeons so nobody should expect to be paid like one. I constantly encourage people to start their OWN business or get better paying jobs to better themselves. I just called a guy to to get a great girl that works here another job in her field. I'd hate to loose her but I'd love to see you do well.
Really? me not caring what someone else makes bankrupt Detroit. I guess 60 years of corrupt leaders was not the issue then.
I could care less what people make but they are talking about making the minimum wage $15.00 across the board. That I have a problem with because it is going to put a lot of people out of business. There are people in this world that do not deserve to make $15.00 an hour and never will but they demand it. Again I'm going to say entitlement nation is taking over this country. Look who it got elected twice.
Cleveland is next on my list Well we all know that's not going to happen, Corp America runs Washington, so no worries. If someone wants to fight for higher wages last time I checked this was America, so have it.
I saw an article that said a Big Mac would go up by sixty-eight cents. Doesn't seem like that big of a jump to me.
No, currupt leaders are what caused it and I'm sure their pulling the strings here still. It's the only way they can get voted in. Look at Obama. Refuses to make any cuts in the budget.
note couple things fast food places are franchised, so the 5.5 billion is bs IMO. The margins for a franchisor are pretty low.
