But $15 to work at McDonalds? If these people want higher wages, go out and learn a proper skill.

Can you picture that? Most of the time they screw up my order and then they would get a larger wage too?

Yup, I am not willing to pay their current prices.

    The entitlement generation continues.

Hmmm, let's see......they raise wage to 15 / hour, which forces them to raise prices......who pays those prices ? consumers.... consumers won't pay higher prices, stores start losing money, stores close.... all the people making 15 / hour are now out of jobs !

    Gee, isn't life wonderful ?

Right now there are factories that are having a hard time hiring skilled workers because half the people they look at can't do basic math, reading, etc. !! Jobs are there, no one to fill them !

McDonalds is a great starter job, it does teach you some of the basic job skills. After a certain amount of time you are either moved up the chain or you find better employment. So it's obvious that this guy has no marketable skills to do anything but flip burgers. So we are going to let a bunch of uneducated, couldn't get a better job if they tried people tell us how much minimum wage should be. Talk about a entitlement handbook move this guy should run for public office or better yet start his own business where his employees dictate how the company is run.

Flipping burgers should not be a career and certainly isn't worth $15 an hour.

This is crazy! I just started working in the casting department of a precious metals plant and don't make $15 an hour yet. And won't be for making that for another 6 months. $15/hr to flip burgers at a fast food joint is absolutely ridiculous! I used to work in the kitchen for a nice restaurant chain and people that manned actual grills and had actual cooking skills that churned out high quality steaks cooked perfectly almost everytime under high stress environments barely made $15/hr.

$15 an hour is absolutely ridiculous. What responsibility does a job at McDonald's have to justify that wage? none. I haven't eaten fast food in I don't know how many years not just because of the cost but because of the health issues associated with it. This just gives me another reason to stay away.

If I owned a fast food store and my employees were on the street picketing like they are now, I would personally go out to the picket line and hand each one of them their pink slip.

It's not like there aren't people needing jobs today.:what:
