Last night we went to a hypnotist and it made me remember this show I saw where they tested the power of hypnosis. Basically they wanted to see if it is possible to take an average person and brainwash them to kill someone. Here is the link to watch the video: Curiosity - Brainwashed , An Experiment ! So they bring in like 60 people and narrow it down to five candidates. They take the candidates and give them a test to see who can fall the deepest into hypnosis. They tell them they are about to get into a wonderful hot tub, but really it is an ice bath. The first four people come out of hypnosis and their heart rate goes crazy. The last guy (Ivan) actually thinks he's in a hot tub and keeps his heart rate stable. It is pretty incredible. They then take Ivan and tell him there is a very bad man outside who needs to be killed. Ivan is given directions about where to get the gun and where the bad guy is. Ivan actually follows orders and shoots the guy. Of course, the whole thing is staged with a prop gun and actors.
