Hey boys and girls. I was in the middle of a long sit yesterday and I really had the urge to fart. With the mostly protein diet that I maintain, my winds can be rather powerful. The debate to break wind perplexed me and I was at a loss on what was right for the situation. So what do you do in this tricky situation?
If you gotta fart just let it out...your breath and body odor already stink to the deer so why not add to it with a good fart
This thread is Awsome, that is all I know. I just let it go, in the early season i ease it out hoping to sound like a doe...but from now until the middle of December, I just let it go hopefully sounding mature. Only one problem in the late season, with overalls or coveralls there is only one way for that thing to get out of your shorts, right up by your nose. Just kidding of course...just let it go.
Dude, for real? On a lighter note, we had a brown bear in the baits last year, this guy walked under the stand and ripped one, I thought I was going to fall out of the stand, I could not stop laughing!
Burlington, NC, you are the closest thing to local I've seen on a forum. I work at Budweiser in Winston-Salem. Oh yea, I figure just let it out. I normally have on so many layers, that it's probably filtered anyway lol
Yeah, I've already let a few "rip" this season. I figure it can do more damage held in that it can let go.
Just dont shart! On a side note though what are you guys using for a scent free powder on the groin area? That seems to be the worst area when it comes to sweating and I finally get my ass into the stand. T
I use arm and hammer unscented anti-perspirant; it's truly unscented, it's from a baking soda company, and it's less than half of the cost of the "scent" block types. I use it everywhere I normally sweat and the groin just so happens to be one of those areas. I apply it like I would apply it to my arm pits. It works like a charm and even after walking 1/2 mile to my stand, I am still relatively dry. I say relatively because you have a lot more pores than what are in your heavy "sweat" areas.
Howdy neighbor! Also had a deadly combo last night; sitting in the ground blind after eating indian food. I will never make that mistake again. However i was verrry warm
