    Yessir.

I needed a back-up to McNabb. Favre was the best available. ;)

B/c he is old. Injury concerns. Plus he does throw alot of INTs.

Is this some type of sexual innuendo?

In his glory years, he was legendary. He finished as the #1 QB three times (naturally, his MVP years), and he had 12 years as a TOP TEN QB.

Last year his rank was 14th, so he was a decent backup QB for a team.

Favre is good because he wins games,

Statistically, this year he wont be a starting QB because,

    a) he will be handing it off a TON, and
    b) because he is not going to be a deep ball QB anymore.

If you need to start him for 1-2 weeks, you could manage, but not for a whole season.

Remember Jeff, Fantasy Football is all about stats, as you get/lose points based on what the player does in real games.

(my rankings are for generic QB values, it could be skewed depending on point values for different leagues)

    On that list, yes.

And im not sure i have read hes a top 5 guy, i have read that he is better then most of the starting QB's, and i would say a top 10 personally.

Fantasy Rankings/Stats dont show the important things that some guys (like Favre) posses, like being able to close tight games and making the right (or wrong :D) throw.
