Fan mount #2 done

    This spring has had its ups and downs, but I'm thankful for being able to make some good memories in the turkey woods. I'm happy with how the fan mounts turned out, as well as the turkey dinners with family.

    The 1st fan mount on the left, was made by a guy I know down the road in Cleves, Ohio who gets those plaques. I asked him to teach me how, and he showed me how to clean everything off the quills and what he uses as a preservative (white gas and borax). I did the 2nd one, but asked him for some help on mounting the actual fan to the plaque. I was afraid I'd mess it up, but it turned out fine. I accidently attached the leather lanyards holding the spurs the opposite way, but oh well.
