    I agree! Always fun hiking with the family Germ. Curious why they are way ahead of you though? Guess I would try to ditch you too so guess I don't blame them!

    My son in Seattle is big into hikes and bikes. Last weekend he did a 2 day ride on his bicycle. Day one was 101 miles and day 2 was 85 miles. Some place in Seattle to Vancouver. The week before he biked to the parking lot at 5000 feet on Ranier and then climbed to 10000 feet. Today he was taking on Mt Hood or some mountain out near Snoquamille or whatever it is. Next week, Sunday-Wed he's signed up to climb to the peak of Ranier with all the snow gear, spikes, ice picks and all that crap on the ice. The next weekend he's riding his bike from some place in BC to the top of the ski resort at Whistler I think it is. He's become a biking... hiking fool.
