Finally got a bracket so I could hang the fallow mount. Should have asked for a full sneak form. Oh well. Now this is the first thing I see when I wake up in the morning.
Fitz, Believe it or not I shot this fallow deer three years ago. The hunt was awesome but the horror story was afterward. Long story short the taxidermist that I originally took it feel on hard time sand had to pick up a full time job. He assured me he would finish it and after two years gave it to another taxidermist to finish. I got it back a year later because that taxidermist was behind too. It all worked out so I'm happy but was worried for abit. He also had a red stag too. I promise to post some stories from this season.
This one was a preserve in Tennessee called Croys Cabins. A very nice family run operation. I know most people don't like preserves but I can't afford New Zealand with 2 kids in college and fallow meat is great. It's a bonus it comes attached to paddles.
