Anyone else looking forward to fall turkey season? I can't wait! I know most of you have a lot of deer huntin' to do but my deer season is over. Hope to find a good one for Thanksgiving dinner :nana:

Our season opens Saturday and runs for a week. I usually only do spring gobbler - but if I happen to see one while in the stand, I will give it an attempt (My spot usually never produces turkeys). Not a very favorable opening day, either. Rain, snow, cold, windy. Yuck.

Was going to go but with me not really being experienced in it and my deer woods dont have turkey id have to go to public land and im not really familiar with how the turkey pattern there. So we own woods that have tons of turkey but its over 2 hours away so ive decided i think my dads headin up there next saturday so ill go and bring a blind and some decoys and just try a good all day turkey hunt and see how it works for me. Hen or tom is goin down if i see one!

I just love bow hunting in general. And we're out of turkey meat at home. Kids love it and would like to have a nice fresh one for Thanksgiving. Good luck to everyone!

Our fall season has been over for 2 weeks. In the spring, I'm a turkey hunting fanatic. In the fall, I'll take one if they come by but I don't concentrate on them.
