Pulled two neighbors pontoons then ours. All water stuff, th boards anything I could fit in th pontoon all at th farm.
Yep last January. It was winter when we bought it so might have been hard to catch during inspection. Could have easily progressed over the last year and half. Basically our options are to caulk everything in and around the steps/front doorway and spray foam the few spots that need it in the basement or rip out the concrete steps and do a fix. Get it fixed right. Caulking/spray foam is a short fix. # 1 is get fid of those concrete steps. They are water traps.! I've seen/repaired SO MUCH damages they cause over the year's!
Long fall to do list but the only one I actually hate is #7. 1) move to our new farm (tomorrow) 2) finish corn combining, fertilizer and tillage 3) lots of baling to do 4) lots of field tile to put in 5) fall lawn maintenance on a half dozen lawns 6) take my son waterfowl hunting some more before it gets too cold 7) talk to some landlords around the area about renting farmland
Think we will be using the foam method this winter and taking the steps out this spring. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
