    I actually have a couple
    1. Scrubbing down the tractor
2 Stripping down and decreasing /cleaning the grill
I did the latter this afternoon, done and over.
There are many projects, clean Windows, winterize plants, clean up all summer clutter. Just life but some are worse than others what's yours?

I have a ton - but it usually gets put onto the "in the spring" list.

Finally got enough round bales to get through the cold months.
Just mowed the garden over and loaded it up with manure.

Next up is butchering pigs, ducks, and turkeys. Just need it to stay a tad cooler during the day.

Pumpkin patch. My wife loves it, the older boys liked it when they were five. I expect this year will be open rebellion. My youngest who is still five, will enjoy it. There are some things I miss as my kids grow up and have outgrown some activities. This is not one. Can't wait until all my kids are too old for it.

I’ll second the pumpkin patch. My wife and her friend think we need both families to get together and be around and be around too many people so we can pick out an overpriced pumpkin that will go rotten. And then we have to go out for whatever you call the meal between lunch and dinner. All I wasn’t to do is go home and get in the woods.

Pumpkin patches are the bane of many a bowhunter's Saturday afternoons in October

Things I have to get done before winter that will interrupt my deer hunting:
    1. Finish last 2 weeks of baseball coaching/games
    2. Drop the boat off at the marina to get winterized, shrinkwrapped, and put up.
    3. Leaves. GD leaves.
    4. Fertilize lawn
    5. Clean gutters
    6. A multitude of trick-or-treating events.
    7. Family photos

Mulch the leaves with the mower, way faster than raking and bagging. After spending most Saturday of my first two years in college raking and bagging leaves as a workstudy job with the campus maintenance department, I swore to never bag another leaf again. 20 years later, I haven't.:rock:

Best investment we made was installing gutter guards, 2nd year with them, live in woods, getting to old to be up and down ladder.

Thats what we did, now I wish I waited a year, all the granules from new roof are laying on spots where blocking plates are located. Just need to clean up those spots, but still worth installing. I havent contacted the contractor to see if their guarantee would cover that?

Have been dealing with a yellow jacket nest the last few weeks. Got into a crack between our front steps and foundation. Sprayed with bee killer numerous times then filled with spray foam. Now they are in our basement. Trying to find where they are getting in and started smelling a musty type smell this week. Found rotted wood/beams behind the insulation right behind our front steps. Not sure if this is from the bees, but I'm glad I found it now.

No it's just a thorough take apart strip down done 2-3 Times a year..spring, summer, fall, other than normal cleaning. Actually grilled chicken tonight, though hubby getting home early so it could be a wood coals grilling. That's his thing.

Ripped insulation away and found water did indeed get behind our front concrete steps at rotted the beams. This should be interesting to fix before winter sets in.
