I have in the past and a little this season. I've never had any of them work for bringing in deer or getting their attention. They don't seem to pay any attention to it, or it will spook them. The only estrous that I haven't tried is vs1.

Yea, VS-1 and EverCalm are my go to scents. I've had does come right up to the blind looking for the other deer using the EverCalm.

I use evercalm religiously. I just can't bring myself to pay $40+ for an estrous scent. From what I hear, it's worth it. My first recurve kill was a doe that was licking evercalm off my climbing sticks.

The 31st is the last day of my season. I have tomorrow Thursday and Friday off. Was hoping to get out but don’t know if I’ll be able to brave these temps. My season may be over. Good luck to those of you still after it.

Kern if you know where the food sources are at, that's where the deer will be. They will have to feed more often when it's colder.

Didn't get to hunt this evening, but I seen a stud with two does driving home a minute ago. They're still after the ladies here.

The area I shot my button buck last week had much more defined food sources. I am back home now so the closest thing to a good food source is clear cuts. I will probably take a drive to check for sign tomorrow. The cuts are good food sources but the movement in them seems much more random. They also use the cuts for bedding. We will see but we might make a play yet.

This cold front really had the deer on their feet this evening. I saw 22 does and fawns and not a horn on any of them. I think the rifle hunters killed all the bucks earlier and now there aren't any left here. I haven't had a picture of a buck since November here in PA.

I went this morning for a few hours but the wind chill was just too much. Didn't see any movement and +20mph didn't help. Going again in the morning hoping for better results.

Going to try an all day sit on New Year’s Day. Hoping the full moon will move some deer mid-day. Fishing tomorrow, the stripers are biting! :)

19° this morning and calm. Only thing moving from daylight until noon was turkey and squirrels. Nothing on camera day or night other than foxes, rabbits, coons, and squirrels. There's not much for food in the area other than typical woodland browse. It's discouraging, but I haven't lost hope yet. Everything can change in the blink of an eye.

Looks like tomorrow should be better but it's going to be late morning.

I've hardly ever had any of the movement charts coincide with what I see and get on camera here. I'm not sure why, but even in the summer the deer movement is random. Most of the time I see major movement in between the minor and major times.

I'm meant to specify that this is what I have gathered at property 1. It's a heavily wooded area with little to no planted food sources just natural browse. Property 2 on the other hand, is more broken up timber (fairly dense) with multiple different crops and food plots on surrounding properties. Plus the field on this property is usually a food crop of sorts. I tend to see deer movement in the morning hours from daylight until 10 or 11, and then in the last hour or two of the day. The properties are less than 10 miles apart, but are completely different in how they're made up in habitat.
