Just got done for the morning. Seen at least 2 dozen does this morning from 8:50-10:40. No bucks in sight, but fresh scrapes everywhere. The ones in the video ended up filtering through by me. Very cold this morning for GA.

Great job Aaron! You put the bike together with studying your map and made the necessary adjustments to make it happen...and learned a ton of useful information in the process. Maybe if you had lowered the seat a few inches you could have ridden her out of the woods. Now I would LOVE to see that photo! Great job.

I won't be out until after Christmas probably. Did catch a couple of stripers yesterday though. :)

    Thank you!!!
It literally all came together and the plan worked perfectly.

And the next time I shoot one I think I am going to try and ride it out lol
I am going to do one trip on the bike with my gear, drop it off at the truck. Then come back and put the deer on the bike and see if I can hop on it and pedal back in.

My father-in-law literally said the same thing you did about it and said he wanted a photo lol

Okay guys. Let’s do this again!
I am hunting tomorrow night for an evening hunt.
Should I go back to the same tree that I killed my doe? That is marked in blue inside the bottom left red box.
Or should I go somewhere else? And if so, where?

The deer I killed was full, completely full of green food. I didn’t see any acorns or corn. Maybe the fields from the south are planted with something?? The doe I shot was with two others that came straight from the south to the north along the field edge.
    What do you guys think?

If it were me I’d go back to the same spot if the wind is good.

When I shot the doe, the wind was out of the west north west. Tomorrow after noon it is saying south to south east.
    Would that change things?

In the morning they were coming back from feeding so the NW wind was good. This evening they should be traveling to the feeding headed south. Does this sound right?

Correct. If they walked that same field edge south, the will most likely wind me I believe

I thought about going to the end of the finger on the right?

Yea, that may be good. How far is it between those 2 finger tips? Can you shoot all the way across?

The tree that I was in I could shoot the edge of the other side. I shouldn’t have a problem being on the other side shooting back across.
I am also looking at the third finger too.
What do you think about that one? The one at the far right?

I like the looks of the third one for evenings. You should be able to see everything that comes out from 3rd finger from you location tonight. Good luck!

In the stand now. Went with my gut and moved a little more down the third finger. It transitions real nice from the one field to the other. With a south wind that big buck can walk with his nose in the wind, walk one field edge, go through the transition to the other field edge and he should walk about 30 yards away. That’s my hope anyways lol

I will count it a success gentlemen. Didn’t shoot anything but saw roughly 6 deer. Nothing close enough to shoot but at least I am in the deer. If I could have gone back tomorrow morning, I would have came right back to that spot.
