I pieced this video together using this year trail cameras plus some extras. Sent from my SM-G935R4 using Tapatalk
That's pretty cool. I would never have thought about putting a video together for the season from trail cam pics.
Bummer! At least it was a clean miss and not a wounded not found deer? Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
Keep your head up! Misses happen. I know it stings even more if you haven’t been getting many opportunities but never know when that next chance is coming. Can’t bring that arrow back. Just bury the next one! Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
For sure a clean miss. Watched walk off after she spooked. At least I got the opportunity at one. In Texas, on the other public land I hunt, she would have ducked right into it. Farthest shot I have taken with a bow. She was 40 yards. I aimed at the bottom of her brisket thinking she would duck since I had to stop her. Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
I always aim for the heart, that way if they duck 6", I'm still in the lungs. That is a long shot but you won't miss the next one.
I normally aim for the heart myself but thought I should hold a little lower at that distance. Didn’t get it on film, I was too zoomed in. I thought she was in frame but she wasn’t. Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
Shot felt good. Didn’t see her fall she shouldn’t go far Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
You were right! I’m going to sit tight and see if anything else walks through. I will shoot another one if I can. Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
