I didn't see one deer in 3.5 hrs this evening, not one. I'm done until after Christmas, I might get out a day or two then. That's a big might.
I got skunked all day today. I got video of two big hens and finally seen some does right at dark across a field... Sent from my N9518 using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
I love the second archery season in PA. Deer seem to have calm down. Find the food sources and you will find the deer feeding in daylight hours. Don't give up!
It should be a really good hunting this weekend. The cold weather is setting in this weekend for most of the North East.
Planning on hanging a set mid morning Saturday. Might sit for a bit after I hang it. Then hoping Sunday morning and evening then Monday morning again. We shall see. Gonna be a chilly one. Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
Heading out in the morning. It really got cold down south where I am. It will be 22 degrees when I get in the stand. Whew! Hope there are deer moving. Good luck this weekend fellas.
Good Luck this morning JGD. I always see morning movement when the temperatures dip low. They need to get up and feed for energy.
I'm heading to property 2. Woke up to it snowing in GA! Sent from my N9518 using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
Was setting up and had a young buck chase a doe by me. Looking good already! Sent from my N9518 using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
Video of a doe that walked under me. Ended up seeing 3 does, 2 spikes, a 4 point, and a 6 point. Thinking about going for a sit at property 1 this evening. Sent from my N9518 using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
I am honestly getting discouraged guys. This is my third sit on this new piece of public land and I have yet to even see a deer from the stand. I know it could change any moment but im still getting down on myself Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
Maybe it’s just the scent coming off of your sneakers! Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
It’s hard not too! I’m in the same boat. Just remember every minute you spend in that tree you’re one minute closer to killing your next deer. Keep after it. Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
I've been through it this season multiple times. Every time I think why am I out here it gets good. Then slows back down and picks back up. Hang in there, it can change in a second. Sent from my N9518 using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
