6 more deer and we have how many people without a deer yet? I’m still open to add 2 to our total. So it might be difficult yes but I don’t think it’s out of reach by any means.

Thet just put down a high 130'ish buck, going to need about 8 more deer, less with any decent buck taken. They have a couple guys yet to take does that were buck hunting so figure we'll need 400 points or more when all is said and done.

I still have a while to get a buck entered still. Going out tomorrow morning to untouched public land spot and for an evening sit at property 2.

Got ya. I thought the 130 was a bonus deer. Well then...

Just crazy, any other year we would be smoking the competition. A lot of quality bucks got dropped early this year

Probably be in the lower to mid 120's, will help a little bit. I was worried he was the big one he was talking about.

Ain't over until the fat lady sings but will definutely be an uphiller from here.

So difficult, especially when the target is constantly moving

So as it stands we’re down 300 roughly?

Roughly 300 yes. But like us, they have a couple guys getting ready to doe hunt as well, so we'll be canceling each other out a bit here and there.

We've still got a few guys that haven't killed either yet and a few without bucks yet. It's still well within range. It is just starting to get good here in the south.

I feel we'll need about 3-4 bonus deer and 2 100"+ bucks to be up there.

Still doable, just not sure what everyone's chances are I guess.

It's definitely going to come down to the wire, just wish I could contribute more

I feel good about getting a decent buck. Still have about 2 months of season left here. Got a nice cold front moving in tonight as well. First good freeze all season. Had a few very light frosts, but nothing significant. Going to be in the 20s in the morning, so these deer will be moving.

I'm in Wyoming for the week. Can't contribute anymore deer but may go fill a couple doe tags. Deer are literally everywhere up here and highly visible. I saw over two hundred deer from the road today. With nice bucks dogging does, standing over them in open fields, seeking...it's just crazy. My son had eight woman from Weatherby in camp and they all tagged out with nice deer. Crazy good right now.

With Team 3 Andrew's buck scoring 144 3/8" it looks like we are at least down by 262 inches. We definitely need some more does and buck entries.
This is not the time to be giving up because of frustration. There are still a lot of bucks out there in daylight hours searching for the next Hot Doe.
    Let's keep at it guys!

Honestly that buck is very similar to one of my best bucks. (one on wall in picture) Brows were small, G2s were over 10, G3s were just shy of 10 and it had bases near or at 5. It didn't touch 140 sadly even. Now granted depending where one starts a length measurement you can easily get half an inch more per measurement. Like that tiny droplet on his right beam....it was 7/8 inches in length so not a measureable point....bet some would have just thrown it on as a 1' at minimum.
