Fall Kill Plots are in!.......Take 2.....

Spent all weekend with my daughter getting our two kill plots planted for this fall. Spent all day Saturday disking putting down lime, and fertilizer. Sunday morning we got the seed in the ground.

Here is plot one before I sprayed.

Plot one after it was sprayed sat two weeks , then disked, and lime and fertilizer spread out.

Plot one after lime and fertilizer lightly disked in, then seeded with Antler Kings Fall/winter/spring blend, then top seeded with Antler Kings Trophy Clover.

Ill post some pictures of plot two next week after I get back out to the hunting land and get some taken.

Looks good! We got ours in the ground a week ago and haven't had a drop of rain since, with nothing but sunshine in the forecast for the next 10 days. Time to start doing a rain dance here in IL.....

Thanks! I think I need to do a rain dance here in OK as well, no rain forecasted here for the at least the next seven days. I am hoping there is enough moisture in the ground for the seeds to germinate.

Thanks, my second kill plot is located just south of this one. Its planted with Evolved Harvest Winter Pz, and tops seeded with Wild Games Forage Fury. Hoping to have some pics of it up after this next weekend.

Well after the lack of rain, I had to replant my fall kill plots. Got them seeded two weeks ago and have now gotten a couple of good rains on them.
