    Your all gonna say I'm an idiot an I KNOW it won't reach max potential, but I never limed or fertilized. I lost my job late June an then never had any extra cash. So I'd have to say its a hell of a start already!

    Sometimes you get lucky. The right conditions, anything can green up, so anything is better than nothing at this point. Did you ever have the soil tested just to see what the soil is like? Either way, green up this soon is a good sign!

    Fuzz giving it light is the #1 key to growth so take what ya get, it's already a step up from nothing...and i hope to hear good things from ya this season!

    I've planted quit a few spur of the moment small plots using left over seed without using lime or fertilizer. I'd say 90% of them were a success. Goodluck! Rain and sunlight are key factors.

    Hahahaha if only there was a big buck roamin around there! I got a lil six point I call can opener but that's it. The big guys on the other property!
